Food Relief for Those in Need
Hunger is one of the heaviest burdens a family can carry. Our Food Aid programme reaches the most vulnerable households in Malawi — widows, orphans, the elderly, the sick and families struck by hardship — with regular food parcels and emergency relief. Each parcel is prepared with care and shared with dignity, so that no neighbour among us is left to go to bed hungry.
Each food parcel typically contains:
• Maize flour (nsima) and rice
• Cooking oil, salt and sugar
• Beans, peas and groundnuts
• Tea and basic cooking essentials
• Soap and hygiene supplies
“And they give food, despite their love for it, to the needy, the orphan and the captive, [saying], ‘We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We desire from you neither reward nor thanks.’”

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbour goes hungry.” (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad)
